We have added some new features to CRM FREE for both the free and paid accounts. Now you can send emails from within CRM-FRM. Right from a contact record send an email either from within CRM-FREE or from an external email program. All emails sent from within CRM-FREE are stored as an email in the Notes section and in the Sent Folder from the Email tab. (Paid accounts can store emails sent externally in the notes section as well) All accounts have access to our SMTP servers (number of emails allowed to send per day depends on account) and you can add your own SMTP servers as well.

Next we added a page with more options when adding a new contact. Now you can enter an address, phone number, email, note, calendar item and more all when initially adding the contact rather than after the contact has been added.

Finally we added two new options in the custom fields. A drop down with all user's listed and one with all user groups listed. The user list will show all active users so you can use to track a user assigned to the contact or project and search from the advanced search as well.

We have added some new features to CRM FREE for both the free and paid accounts. First is more searching options. From the Contacts tab you can search your database. Now if you have two or less custom fields you can search them from here as well. If you have more than two custom fields we have added a link at the of the section for an Advanced Search. This offers more options and the ability to search all your custom fields.

Next we have added a type option to each note that is entered. You have options for: note, log and email and can add as many options as you like from the Settings tab. The log and email options will be used by CRM-FREE for emails you send into the database and for all notes that are logs of activities done on a contact or project.

We have added some new features to CRM FREE for both the free and paid accounts. You have always been able to add as many addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and dates as you needed. Now you can add custom fields in CRM FREE to track everything you need. You can create text fields, boxes, numbers, currency and drop down options. Also there are times when you want to save data in a contact or project but wouldn't want to add a custom field as it may be needed for just one person or a small number of records. Now you can add an additional field to just one contact or project at a time.

CRM FREE now makes it even easier for you to enter and track information. You are not limited by a design and a certain set of fields. The ability to add custom and additional fields gives you control over what data you track making it more valuable to you.

Finally from the Calendar List you can now export all entries to a csv file to print a list of calls or meetings to take with you.

We are happy to announce some new features for CRM-FREE. We have added a type option to the projects, allowing further organizing of your projects. This can be used to separate them by department, product or any other separation needed. In the contact search results we have also added the ability to Batch Add notes to each contact in the list or to add them all to a group you select. The new Batch Add link is above the contact results next to the total number of contacts found.

There are different ways to keep employees or contacts at a company in the database. A new feature on the contact page now makes it a little simpler. Enter a person and add the company they work for, leaving the Personal/Company option as Personal. This will will display the company name as a link if a company record exists for that name (a contact where the Personal/Company option is selected as Company). So you will have direct access to the main company page. Also next to that link will be a link showing the total number of contacts at that company. Clicking on this link takes you to a page listing everyone at that company.

In the paid version we recently added the ability to post new contacts or leads from a form on your web site. We now have added the option of setting the user(s) and user group(s) that should be assigned to view that contact right from the form. This way new leads could come in and be visible to your sales department for example right away. See the posting instructions from the Help tab in CRM-FREE.

We have added a new feature to the paid versions of CRM-FREE, the ability to post forms on your web site directly into your database. With a few easy changes to the forms they can create new contacts in your account. Easily map standard fields in the system as well as other fields into notes. You can even receive an email alerting you a form was filled out and including all the data they submitted in a format you select.

Also we updated process for sending emails into CRM-FREE to now accept attachments. The files attached will be linked in the contact or projects record as well as on the Email tab viewable from each individual email.

We have lots of new features and updates coming in the next few months and always appreciate any comments on new ideas and requests.
